“From the office of the Mayor of Dallas, The Honorable Eric Johnson” The Agape Clinic has been a great resource to the people of Dallas, helping to reduce their need for expensive emergency and hospital services paid for by the taxpayers. The new Agape Always Foundation will be vital to supporting the clinic’s mission and ensuring it continues to bless the underserved residents of Dallas.

It has been a true honor and pleasure getting to serve and help the patients of Agape. I still remember vividly when Nisha Reddy was sitting in my office talking about her volunteer work at Agape. I plainly asked, "Does Agape have a musculoskeletal clinic?" She responded, "No, but this would be a great thing to start.
With the true drive and help of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical students, we have now begun a musculoskeletal clinic at Agape. Although it is in its infancy, the potential is there. Seeing patients at Agape brings joy to my heart and allows medical students to begin understanding of how to care for patients. Teaching the medical students, the understanding of patient care is a privilege and serving others is what matters most. At the musculoskeletal clinic of Agape, we are able to see all joint pain and issues and help triage them appropriately. We have now expanded to give selective articular injections to help relieve the patients musculoskeletal joint pain in addition to bracing, splinting and therapeutic exercises.
Every patient I see at Agape always has a special place in my heart. I hope to provide them the best care that all patients should receive. It is my desire to fu1ther expand the musculoskeletal clinic at Agape, teaching medical students, raising awareness for musculoskeletal complaints and helping the patients of Agape obtain the best cutting-edge musculoskeletal evidence based care.

Schumacher, MD, FACC, FSCAI Specialty Interventional Cardiology Baylor Scott & White Cardiology Consultants of Texas -Dallas, Baylor Scott & White Cardiology Consultants of Texas - Waxahachie I started working at Agape when it was only Saturday mornings at Grace Methodist Church and Dr. Stark and her husband David basically did everything with a few volunteers from the Church. Amazingly the culture hasn’t really changed, it still is to offer what health care we can to ANYONE for nothing, trying to serve those that need it without restrictions of finances. This has been a wonderful plan that has delivered far more value to the community than what dollars have been put in because of it’s frugal yet quality delivery of health care. I have personally been able to follow up with patients seen there first and referred for specialty cardiac care. This includes a young woman from Ethiopia who first went to Agape because of shortness of breath and really had a complex valvular heart problem that led to Mitral valve replacement. She now is feeling well and active, but all because she felt safe and able to seek her first medical care at the Agape Clinic. You really can’t get a better return on your gifts than those offered at Agape.
